The Document Academy is a loosely coupled international network of scholars, artists, and professionals, in various fields, interested in the exploration of the document as a useful approach, concept and tool, in Sciences, Arts, Business and Society, in general.
The aim of The Document Academy is to create a space for experimental and critical research on documents in a wide sense. Drawing on traditions and experiences around the world. We hope that people from many different fields and cultures will participate in this project, which will be an ongoing "work in progress." It means that the Academy is truly multi-disciplinary, open for scholars, artists, scientists, business people, students and all others interested in understanding the ever-changing human process of creating and using documents.
The choice of language is always a challenge for global projects. We would like to invite people to use all kinds of languages. For pragmatic reasons we will use English as the main language.
